TNYD Elects New State Executive Board for the 2025-2027 Term

Every two years, Young Democrats from across Tennessee gather to elect new members of the State Executive Board. On Saturday, delegates from all TNYD chapters and at-large members met in Nashville and elected a new board. We want to thank the previous board for their commitment and their service to the organization.


The following members were elected to a two year term that began at the conclusion of the Convention:

  • President - Will Bowen (Knox County - East Tennessee)

  • Executive Vice President - Jeremiah Chambers (Chattanooga - East Tennessee)

  • Secretary - Jacob York (McNairy County - West Tennessee

  • Treasurer - Corrion Davis (Shelby County - West Tennessee)

  • Membership Director - Trent Benge (Davidson County - Middle Tennessee)

  • National Committee Seat 1 - Jermaine Cole (Davidson County - Middle Tennessee)

  • National Committee Seat 2 - Beeta Baghaevaji (Chattanooga - East Tennessee)

  • East Vice President - Gage Schmid (Smokey Mountain - East Tennessee)

  • Middle Vice President - Gracie Freeman (Davidson County - Middle Tennessee)

  • West Vice President - Olajide Ibitoye (Shelby County - West Tennessee)


Following the Convention President Bowen appointed the following members to the board:

  • Special Advisor - Shayne Bilbrey (Putnam County - Middle Tennessee)

  • Parliamentarian - Trent Benge (Davidson County - Middle Tennessee)

  • Communications - Gage Schmid (Smokey Mountain - East Tennessee)


Tennessee Young Democrats is a state chartered unit of the Young Democrats of America. TNYD was founded in 1932 and has been the youth organizing arm for the Democratic Party. TNYD has chapters in all three grand divisions of Tennessee.
